They were looking for a Substitution, and they are the ones completing it at the top of the WMR 100 this week. The team-up of Purple Disco Machine, Kungs and Julian Perretta unseats Vesna from the top spot of our list, with all three acts claiming their first WMR 100 #1, while the Czech group slips down to #3 with Queen of Love. In the middle, Carly Rae Jepsen moves up five spots from #7 to claim silver this week with Shy Boy, and could very well be on course to get her second #1 sooner rather than later (she already held the top spot back in March with Surrender My Heart). Rounding out the top five are Madison Beer, who drops one spot from the third to the fourth place with Home to Another One, and Moyka, shooting up ten places to #5 with Already Gone.

The throne of the WMR 100 switches hands once again, going from the Pretty Devil to the Queen of Love. Czech-based multinational band Vesna claim the #1 spot this week with one of the tracks off their EP MUZIKA, released last May. Alessandra, the dethroned champion from last week, now drops to #2, with Madison Beer moving up five places to take the bronze medal with Home to Another One. Rounding out the top five are Purple Disco Machine‘s Substitution, rocketing ten places up from last week to #4, and last week’s #2 Saint Stacy, who falls to #5 with Remind Me.

And just like that, another WMR 100 first is achieved this week. Italian-Norwegian rising star Alessandra becomes the first artist to top the list with two different songs. Having already two weeks at #1 to her name with her Eurovision banger Queen of Kings in late March, she now adds a third one with her follow-up single Pretty Devil, which will sit atop the rankings during its ninth week in them. Joining Alessandra on the podium are Swiss performer Saint Stacy, who scores a new personal best as her single Remind Me moves up from #4 to #2, and last week’s dethroned champions RONDÉ, who will take bronze this week with Break My Heart.

For the first time, a Dutch act claims the WMR 100 #1 this week thanks to RONDÉ, who have been skyrocketing up the list since they arrived five weeks ago with Break My Heart. The four-piece band moves up two spots from #3 last week with their song, the lyrics of which have overtones of moving on from someone who does you no good. Joining them on the podium are Alessandra, moving up five places from #7 and coming really close to taking once again the top spot, and Olivia Lunny, slipping down one spot to #3 with Timezone.
