  • It’s the nation that has had the largest WMR 100 representation in these past few weeks, but none of them had managed to plant the flag on top of the list… until now. The Veronicas are Here to Dance their way up to the WMR 100 #1, becoming the first Australian act to claim the highest placement of our weekly list, and not only that, but leading an Aussie 1-2, as the team-up of Sia & Kylie Minogue in Dance Alone moves up four spots from #6 to claim this week’s silver medal. Kygo & Ava Max slip down one spot to #3, while last week’s #1 Julian Guba and Alessandra round out the top five.

  • Multiple nations have managed to have at least one of their acts lay claim to the WMR 100 #1, and today another one joins the club. Julian Guba is the first Austrian artist to claim the top spot of our list this week with his single Get Rid of You. Joining him at the podium will be Kygo & Ava Max, staying put at #2 with Whatever, and The Veronicas, moving up four places to #3. Kaleen and last week’s #1 Annalisa round out the top five.

  • The first time Annalisa turned up in the WMR 100, she peaked at #2 with Mon Amour in July 2023. She now goes one better with Sinceramente, as she claims her first WMR 100 #1 this week, and the eighth overall for Italy. Flanking her on the podium this week is the team-up of Kygo and Ava Max, moving up from #3 to #2 with Whatever, as well as last week’s #1 Purple Disco Machine, now dropping to #3 with Beat of Your Heart.

  • It was back in August 2023 when Purple Disco Machine took his first WMR 100 #1 with Substitution. This week he’s once again topping the list, now joining forces with Icelandic singer ÁSDÍS in the single Beat of Your Heart. Annalisa and Kygo will be joining him on the podium; the former moving up from #3 to take silver, the latter climbing up six places from #9 to #3. Completing the top five this week are NOTD and last week’s #1 Mägo de Oz.

  • It’s a blood moon rising as Mägo de Oz‘s Luna de sangre becomes Spain’s first ever WMR 100 #1. The folk metal band is still going strong following several lineup changes in the past year, and it shows as they dethrone Tali to claim the top spot of our list with one of the singles off their newest album Alicia en el Metalverso. Speaking of Tali, she now falls to #2 with Fighter, while Annalisa moves two spots up to #3 with Sinceramente. Fletcher and NOTD will be rounding out this week’s top five.

  • Tali is your new WMR 100 #1! Truly a woman of the world, the 23-year-old singer was born in Israel, has resided in the likes of Chile, Argentina, the United States and Luxembourg, and is set to represent the latter in the Eurovision Song Contest this May with Fighter, a self-empowerment pop track about finding the strength and confidence in yourself necessary to persevere in the face of adversity, which has led her to the top spot of our list this week. Flanking her in the podium will be Mägo de Oz, up three from #5 to claim this week’s silver medal with Luna de sangre, and last week’s number 1 Alan Walker, now dropping to #3 with Who I Am. Smash into Pieces and Annalisa round out the top five.

  • Who is Alan Walker? Well, he’s your brand new WMR 100 #1! The Norwegian-British producer soars to the top of the ranks, moving up from the #8 spot he claimed last week alongside Putri Ariani and Peder Elias, with his latest single Who I Am. Joining Walker and company on the podium for the week will be Myrath, upgrading from bronze to silver placement with Let It Go, and Tali, moving up seven places to #3 with her Eurovision song Fighter. Smash into Pieces and Mägo de Oz round out the week’s top five.

  • There’s just no stopping Barbara Pravi! The French star claims the top spot of the WMR 100 #1 for the second consecutive week with her single Bravo, joined on the podium by two bands: Finland’s Cyan Kicks (up two from #4 last week) with Dancing with Demons and Tunisia’s Myrath (climbing up from #6 to #3) with Let It Go. XOV and Smash into Pieces round out the top five.

  • A round of applause is in order for Barbara Pravi, as it has only taken her six weeks to rise to the top spot of the WMR 100 with her latest single Bravo, claiming both her and her country France’s first-ever #1 in our list. Pravi will be joined on the podium this week by two Swedish acts: XOV rises from #4 to #2 with Oh My Gosh, while last week’s #1 Winona Oak drops to #3 with Fragile Thing. Cyan Kicks and KEiiNO round out the top five.
