Daniela Spalla claims Argentina’s first WMR 100 #1

December is here, and it means WMR’s first year is close to ending. Through 2023, we have seen artists from several countries claim the top spot of the WMR 100, and we start the last month of the year adding a new country to that list: Argentina. Daniela Spalla becomes the first Argentine act to reach the #1 of our weekly list, plus the first to do so with a Spanish-language song, with La carta, single off her latest album Dara. She is joined on the podium by SIDEPIECE and Faouzia, who inch closer to the top by moving up a spot from #3 to #2 with On My Way, and last week’s #1 LPS, who drop to #3 with Insomnia. Dua Lipa and Lord of the Lost round out the top five.
