  • A new champion has been crowned in this week’s WMR 100, as Faouzia ascends to the top spot of the list for the first time with La La La, her single about brushing off an ex’s attempts at reconciliation. She’s joined at the podium by Walk Off the Earth, upgrading from bronze to silver as they take this week’s #2 with Long Way Home, and Purple Disco Machine, who goes the other way and slips from #2 to #3 with Substitution. Moyka and last week’s #1 Carly Rae Jepsen round out the top five, but everyone will have to watch out for a new challenger in Italian band Måneskin, who storm back into the list as the hottest new entry of the week claiming the #9 spot with their new single Honey (Are U Coming?).

  • She took silver last week, now she’s the one holding the gold! For the second time in her career, Carly Rae Jepsen gets the #1 spot in the WMR 100 this week – as she previously did back in March with Surrender My Heart – with Shy Boy, the lead single off her newest album The Loveliest Time. Jepsen swaps places with last week’s gold medalist Purple Disco Machine, who slips down to #2 with Substitution, while Walk Off the Earth move up six places from #9 to take bronze with Long Way Home. Moyka and Faouzia round out the top five.

  • They were looking for a Substitution, and they are the ones completing it at the top of the WMR 100 this week. The team-up of Purple Disco Machine, Kungs and Julian Perretta unseats Vesna from the top spot of our list, with all three acts claiming their first WMR 100 #1, while the Czech group slips down to #3 with Queen of Love. In the middle, Carly Rae Jepsen moves up five spots from #7 to claim silver this week with Shy Boy, and could very well be on course to get her second #1 sooner rather than later (she already held the top spot back in March with Surrender My Heart). Rounding out the top five are Madison Beer, who drops one spot from the third to the fourth place with Home to Another One, and Moyka, shooting up ten places to #5 with Already Gone.

  • The throne of the WMR 100 switches hands once again, going from the Pretty Devil to the Queen of Love. Czech-based multinational band Vesna claim the #1 spot this week with one of the tracks off their EP MUZIKA, released last May. Alessandra, the dethroned champion from last week, now drops to #2, with Madison Beer moving up five places to take the bronze medal with Home to Another One. Rounding out the top five are Purple Disco Machine‘s Substitution, rocketing ten places up from last week to #4, and last week’s #2 Saint Stacy, who falls to #5 with Remind Me.

  • And just like that, another WMR 100 first is achieved this week. Italian-Norwegian rising star Alessandra becomes the first artist to top the list with two different songs. Having already two weeks at #1 to her name with her Eurovision banger Queen of Kings in late March, she now adds a third one with her follow-up single Pretty Devil, which will sit atop the rankings during its ninth week in them. Joining Alessandra on the podium are Swiss performer Saint Stacy, who scores a new personal best as her single Remind Me moves up from #4 to #2, and last week’s dethroned champions RONDÉ, who will take bronze this week with Break My Heart.

  • For the first time, a Dutch act claims the WMR 100 #1 this week thanks to RONDÉ, who have been skyrocketing up the list since they arrived five weeks ago with Break My Heart. The four-piece band moves up two spots from #3 last week with their song, the lyrics of which have overtones of moving on from someone who does you no good. Joining them on the podium are Alessandra, moving up five places from #7 and coming really close to taking once again the top spot, and Olivia Lunny, slipping down one spot to #3 with Timezone.

  • For the second time ever, Belgium’s flag is firmly planted atop the WMR 100 this week. Yves V will be the one reaching the summit, accompanied by Paradigm and Mougleta, with his track Dynamite, which reaches the top of the list ten weeks into its run. Joining him on the podium will be Olivia Lunny, staying put at #2 for another week with Timezone, and Dutch band RONDÉ, which has been rocketing up the list of late and claim bronze in their fifth week in the WMR 100 with Break My Heart. Dethroned #1 Kelly Clarkson and Kylie Minogue will be rounding out the top five.

  • She’s not coming down from our Favorite Kind of High. Kelly Clarkson scores a second week atop the WMR 100 while also reigning since yesterday in the Fan Mix 40. The American performer’s love song retains the top spot of the list with Olivia Lunny still hot on her heels, not moving from #2 as well with Timezone. Theresa Rex, Yves V and RONDÉ round out the top five.

  • We frequently say that WMR Fan Mix 40 votes are tight races. But none tighter than this week, when Kelly Clarkson and Madison Beer actually tied in points in the top two spots. Resorting to our tiebreaker criteria, Clarkson received more 10s than Beer, so she will be the one taking the #1 place this week with Favorite Kind of High. Rounding out the podium will be Kylie Minogue, climbing up to #3 with Padam Padam.

  • It was beginning to look like the WMR 100 #1 was going to slip through Kelly Clarkson’s fingers, as she has spent these past three weeks on the podium, closely watching as Dotter and Katie Belle took turns on the top spot. But that won’t be the case as this week, the inaugural American Idol champion claims the crown all to herself, replacing fellow countrywoman Katie Belle at #1 with her single Favorite Kind of High, one of the tracks off her newest album Chemistry, which came out less than a month ago. Katie drops to #3 with her three-time WMR 100 #1 The Best You’ll Ever Have, leaving the door open for Olivia Lunny to take the silver medal and a new personal best in the list with Timezone, moving up four places from #6. Theresa Rex and Laura Rizzotto, both also trending upward, round out this week’s top five.
